From the Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science & Recreation

Welcome to all servers of the Faculty. I am indeed very proud to announce that FSR is the only Faculty among all universities in Malaysia that offers a professional programme in the field of Sports Science and Recreation. General views often relate the establishment of the faculty focusing towards athletes development. However, we have widen the scope to produce professionals in the sports and recreation industry. Our task is to train the required future individual experts in both fields through different perspectives. We are willing to help in developing athletes by providing good facilities and flexibility in our academic programmes.

Although the Faculty is rather new, indeed it has developed progressively. In line with the development of sports and recreation industry in Malaysia, the Faculty is all prepared to play its vital role in meeting the demands of sports in both areas. So far, we are proud that our graduates had produced great performance in their respective professions. We also planned to ensure the Faculty will continuously contribute to the development of sports and recreation both for the university and the country at large. Meanwhile, we are preparing to launch the " UiTM-MSN National Research Center " in due time. To enhance its establishment, at least there are 12 research activities being currently carried out by lecturers of the Faculty at the moment.
