SR 111 - Diploma In Sports and Recreational Management

OVERVIEW

The program was designed to offer courses to students who are interested in leadership and managerial endeavour in sport and recreational-related industries. The program provides a strong theoretical foundation in sport and recreational management supported by a variety of experiential learning experiences. Throughout the programme, students may develop the understanding of business in sport and recreation as well. Graduates from this programme are expected to fulfil career demands as administrators and managers in many sport organisations and recreational operators in this country.

Sport Retail Manager The diploma programme allow students to complete up to five (5) semesters or two and half years with the internship or industrial training in the final semester.

 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Fullfill general university requirements and special program requirements. The selection of the candidate is based on the excellent performance during an interview and the fitness test conducted by the faculty.

 GENERAL UNIVERSITI REQUIREMENTS

PASS SPM or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government by obtaining FIVE (5) CREDITS including Malay Language (Bahasa Melayu) AND a Pass in History (Sejarah) at SPM

 

 Special Program Requirements
 SPM/ Any Equivalent Qualification Recognized by the Malaysian Goverment

Fulfill General University Requirement including CREDIT

  • Mathematics/Additional Mathematics
  • English Language

AND PASS Physic/Chemistry/Biology/Additional Science/Science/ Sports Science Knowledge (Pengetahuan Sains Sukan)/ Applied Science and a PASS in History (Sejarah) at SPM.

OR

 SPM/ Any Equivalent Qualification Recognized by the Malaysian Government with working experience

PASS SPM or any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government by obtaining THREE (3) CREDITS including Malay Language (Bahasa Melayu)

AND

  • PASS in Mathematics/Additional Mathematics
  • Pass Physic/Chemistry/Biology/Additional Science/Science/Knowledge in Sport Science
  • PASS English Language
  • PASS History (Sejarah)

WITH THREE (3) years working experience in related field or Two (2) years involvement in sports at state/national level.

OR

Pre - UiTM

PASS in Pre-Commerce (PD 003) or Pre-Science (PD 008) or Pre –Accounting (PD 005) from UiTM with minimum CGPA 2.50

AND PASS Interview and Fitness Test  Conducted By The Fakulty
